Strike A Pose returns to Quarry for this donation-driven fundraiser, hosting a huge gathering of DJs, live performers, dancers and drag acts.
The foundation of the party was an attempt to get all of our friends to the same night out together, and it’s grown into something much bigger. At each event, we fundraise for a group or union taking strike action in their workplace.
In December 2022 we raised £525 for the local CWU branch to support postal workers on strike, and in April 2023 we raised £888 for NHS Workers Say NO.
We will be raising money for SOS NHS on the night. Speakers from the NHS will be discussing some of the ongoing issues and disputes, and we’ll have an update from NHS Workers Say NO.
The format remains the same: half live performances, half disco.

After 11pm: house / (italo-)disco / garage / techno / queer anthems / ecstatic classics
This event is NOT TICKETED. Please instead donate what you can on the door. All money raised will go to local organisers. Solidarity.
