The Tung Auditorium is partnering with BlackFest to present Satin Beige. BlackFest is a multi-arts festival celebrating Black creatives running from 25th September to 29th October 2023.
Satin Beige is an R&B cellist and singer- songwriter. Her music has been described as “cello infused, lyrically soulful R&B” with “something of an Ed Sheeran and Alicia Keys vibe”. She has performed for Sir Paul McCartney, received a special mention award at the UK Music awards and opened the main stage at Africa Oyé.
She has also played sessions for local BBC radio stations and Scala Radio in London. This year she is playing across the UK, opening for Tommy Scott of Space, and promoting her new single ‘Running’.
