As part of our Eurovision programming we were excited to be awarded a Eurostreet grant to run an event at Melodic Bar. On Monday 8th May, we partner with Music Saves UA to bring you ‘Ukraine In Focus’ An evening celebrating 5 Ukrainian artists from both Liverpool and Ukraine.
Extending our lovely work with Music Saves UA through radio and socials into our space, this will be a night to experience the incredible creative talent bubbling through Ukrainian’s creative scene. It’s been an absolute pleasure to work with Music Saves UA over the last 2 months to shine a light on the creative scene they know and love through our platform and we cannot wait to bring this into the real world on Monday.
With more support for their scene to thrive needed more than – all entry donations from the event will go towards Music Saves UA, a non-profit fundraising initiative created by Ukrainian Association of Music Events to provide immediate humanitarian help to those who need it most right now in Ukraine.
As part of this project, we also had the pleasure of commissioning Ukrainian artist, magistrmagii, to design the poster, you can see this in full force above and go check out their work via the instagram link above.
