Emotion Wave are going back to our roots with intimate live electronic showcase events.
For our 17th outing we’ll be featuring live perfomances from La French, Slobject and Lo Five.
La French is a multi instrumentalist/producer based in Leyland, Lancashire.
Combining his love for hip hop, electronica and jazz he uses samples and live instruments to recreate the genres with an ambient warmth.
Stranded at home for two weeks with covid whilst the family were on holiday in the States, Slobject. embarked on an electronic musical journey. It was a delirious and fever ridden two weeks, but music was created, and it came flowing out. Slobject will be showcasing their music at this event, be sure to check out their EP release ‘Entrance fees and exit wounds’ on 25th of August.
Lo Five is the experimental melodic ambient handle of Neil Grant, a Wirral-based producer who specialises in heavily textured tape-worn beat-heavy soundscapes, which refer to an ongoing interest in human consciousness and spiritual enlightenment.
