Ari Hoenig is a ground-breaking drummer, composer and educator who has become one of the most significant and influential voices in the jazz and drumming world over the last two decades. With a technique called ‘melodic drumming’, Ari’s impressive style includes playing actual tunes on the drums, which has to be seen to be believed!
A visionary composer and bandleader, he has worked alongside artists including Mike Stern, Joshua Redman, Wayne Krantz, Chris Potter, Pat Martino and Robert Glasper and continues to push the boundaries of the modern jazz idiom. This autumn he returns to the UK for a highly anticipated series of concerts celebrating the release of a new collaborative album entitled Enchanted.
