Yugotone Groove is a mix tape selected from Yugoslav jazz, jazz funk, breaks and disco tracks as much as possible because the duration is limited to one hour. All tracks are from vinyl.
There is still a lot of good music left for the presentation of the music scene of those genres of the former Yugoslavia. Some of the musicians whose tracks are presented in the selection played and performed with famous world names. For example Boško Petrović and Duško Gojković. And yet some have gone unnoticed and their music is only now being appreciated.
The music from this selection may surprise someone and encourage them to scratch a little deeper under the surface and discover how fertile the music scene of the former Yugoslavia was.
