Based in South Liverpool, Wavertree Worldwide is a socially conscious programme of community events run by a collective of friends that wanted to bring together a love of music, fashion and art.
Powered by a DIY DJ booth and a disco ball, Wavertree Worldwide are creating a new home for local events with an expansive outlook thanks to the reopening of Smithdown Social Club, a humble paradise where international artists meet Merseyside’s finest in an unpretentious space for dancing and guaranteed joy.
Tonight the crew are joined by Total Refreshment Centre’s central character, Lex Blondin, before he spins some wax at WW’s first community dance event at Smithdown Social Club later this evening.
