Voodoo Takeover

Voodoo is Liverpool’s seminal underground techno night, raising roofs since 1993.

From its humble beginnings, the word soon spread that this crowd sure knows how to party. The early days featured Andrew Weatherall, Garnier, the Orb’s Alex Patterson, and the pre Chemical Dust Brothers, vibing on the insane alchemy of the best people dancing to the best music.

All the world’s main players have graced the decks: Dave Clarke, Luke Slater, Mr. Hawtin and of course Detroit’s finest, Mills, Hood and Bone.

After a hiatus of 7 years, Voodoo was invited to see if the magic was still there by the discerning management at 24 Kitchen Street. Lo and behold, they’ve still got it! A blistering set from DJ Bone set the wheels back in motion, the collective effervescence of Voodoo’s loyal followers bringing the 90’s back big time.
