Fresh from designing roundabouts and selling gas safety equipment to pay the bills, Kevin & Stewart are back with another episode of Unknown End, their show that can literally feature anything. The weirder the better.
Possibly the most consistently played artist in Unknown Ends radio shows/gigs, we have beren championing this artist for time. Its April, and this month, Edinburgh’s (now Glasgow based) shinging light that is ‘LWS’ aka Lewis Williamson hops onboard the guest mix for Unknown End.
See what I did there? Hops? Easter? Nevermind!
Joining the likes of Dukwa & Marco Bailey; LWS’ latest EP ‘Metrixulus’ dropped on TDSR last year to rave reviews (did you know the title track is actually made entirely from a ten-minute iPhone recording from one of his economics lecture – NUTTER) – and if that wasn’t enough, the mad man only followed that up with his own imprint, Matrice Recordings. The first release one of his own (obv); a meaty two-tracker full of panned percussion and that LWS low end that i’ve become so accustomed to.
I (Kevin) will be in Portugal at Sonar Festival when this airs, but i’m gonna have this blaring from the roof terrace as I drink sangria in my pants! Thats what this mix was made for!
