Women’s Wednesday is a collective of four women creating safe spaces for women, LGBTQIA+ and non-binary communities through exclusive high-energy events.
Abbie, Meg, Pat and Gina have their monthly show here at Melodic Distraction to open up conversations to improve awareness, educate listeners on important topics and share their favourite music. Not only will their shows be chatty but they will be inviting special guests to showcase their talents… tune in every second (Women’s) Wednesday of the month from 5-6pm right here on MDR.
DJ and musician, Mia Mai, and singer-songwriter and producer, Isabelle Mettle, are two local musicians based in the North West. The pair are currently studying music at the University of Liverpool, and are bringing you a line-up of garage / speed-garage tracks through the fusion of live DJing and vocals.
