Since 2018, Stepping Tiger has been showcasing live acts at the forefront of the UK jazz, soul and afrobeat scene, supported by eclectic and experienced selectors. It has hosted live performances from the likes of Theon Cross, Skinny Pelembe, Yazmin Lacey and local favourites The Remy Jude Ensemble.
Ben the Roman has been unearthing hidden gems & playing them out for over a decade. A deep love of digging has gained him a reputation for providing unique sets that are sure to have the dancers in full focus. His common record selection draws from tripped-out afrobeat to soul heart-melters; jazz to rare-groove, funky dancers to South American grails and much more.
