Smezkh is an electronic multi-genre project founded in 2011 in Kremenchuk, Ukraine.
In 2016, within the framework of the Future Genre Lab project, Smezkh released an experimental album called Cores, which presents a conceptual view of the future development of dance music.
In May 2021, the single Solpuga was released on the Bandcamp platform. As a music author and performer, Smezkh participated in the local contemporary culture festival LES (2021), the independent Ukrainian electronic scene festival Shuffle organized by the creative community Peauty Fute (2021), and the charity festival of contemporary Ukrainian culture НА ЧАСІ (2022).
In July 2022, Smezkh had the opportunity to perform on Gasoline Radio with a series of unpublished works. Smezkh’s music has been featured on commercial (Mystictrax) and charity (РАЗОМ ЗА УКРАЇНУ, Various Artists 02) compilations. Smezkh is a resident of Gasoline Radio, where they host a monthly podcast called Submerged Rocks, focusing on bass music.
In 2022, the debut mini-album Polissia was released on the Mystictrax label.
