Slut Drop resident DJ and visual tech Ruashwae digs deep into her 130 folder for this no-holds barred guest mix. Expect crunchy techno, wonky beats and weird industrial bass.
Ruashwae joined Slut Drop back in 2018 as a visual tech for theirCHUNK (RIP). As time went on, she became more confident behind the decks and started guesting on Permahigh’s KMAH show before co-hosting Slut Drop’s show on Sable Radio. Since then, she has been co-hosting Slut Drops Open Deck Workshops which run every 3rd Sunday at Hyde Park Book Club. Here, women and minorities are encouraged to come down to learn how to mix on industry standard kit and hang out with like-minded people. Most recently, Ruashwae and SD founder Tacat supported Radio 1 DJ and Slut Drop alumni Jaguar as part of her Utopia Tour.
Ruashwae is also behind the trippy visuals you’ll find at Think Tank: A Place for Your Head events. You’ll find her behind her laptop creating reactive visuals on the fly as the acts perform. She’s been with the collective since 2017 (5 years this year!) and has been privileged to work with some of the most influential and exciting electronic acts around.
