The Nirvana Principle Show creates a space to discuss psychological concepts and widen perspectives on mental health. Mallick draws his insights from his 7 years of experience as a medical professional, DJ and founder of an underground music label in Pakistan, Black Peach Project.

Our guest is Dr.Harry Witchel, Ph.D. in Physiology from the University of California at Berkeley; currently an award winning Discipline leader in Physiology at Brighton and Sussex Medical school. He is a neuroscientist, author, broadcaster and academic.

We use his book “You are what you hear: how music and territory make us who we are” as a basis to discuss how genres are like breakfast, chew on some Auditory Cheesecake, wonder why we listen to sad music and share what scientists realized when they put microphones in women’s uteri.
