Accolades he has gained along the way include the Tim Chard Case History prize in OBGYN , special commendation for The Andrea Litva prize for teaching not to mention 1st place at a research conference in Oxford. We discuss Thomas’s conviction that old age psychiatry is one of the best fields to work in ; and the approach professionals take for caring for people with dementia. Our focus will be on defining contemporary understanding of cognitive disorders, how to treat them and a word on the quiet torment that carers for dementia face. This is for the layman as well as health professionals working in the all-important field of Old Age Psychiatry.
