At an early age, Michael got his first taste of electronic music listening to local DJs including Yousef, Steve Parry and Thomas Tuft, before playing at number of local venues whilst studying at University. When he was not studying, Michael would spend all of his time record digging and editing tracks.
While building a career outside of the music industry, Michael’s love for house and techno has only continued to grow, and he has played alongside a range of established DJs including Nicole Moudaber, Guy J, Culoe De Song, Booka Shade and more. He has been described as having a unique ability of warming the crowd up in his own inimitable fashion, and getting the crowd limbered up for the night ahead.
With a characteristic style, Michael always sets out to find the right sentiment in his sets and he describes his sound to be “rhythmic, percussive and atmospheric” which results in a well thought out collection of music. As part of the Moritz show you can expect to hear an eclectic selection of electronic music, including a number of exclusives and edits prepared by Michael himself.
