The talented folks from Sheffield’s MONDO Radio are taking over the MDR airwaves, bringing with them some of their finest hosts!
Mondo radio is a station based in Sheffield. Mondo relaunched in February 2022 after a two year hiatus, with the aim to represent Sheffield’s underground music scene and link the artists within it to talent from across the country.
MYNA is one of the most exciting emerging talents in the Sheffield scene. In this mix MYNA presents music from all reaches of the African diaspora and adjacent cultures. She blends percussive sounds that represents her African background, and lately her love of genres such as cumbia and dembow.
