To celebrate the launch of our new home at Melodic Bar and Coffee, we’ve teamed up with Dr Martens to bring you a full day takeover of radio. From local friends to international favourites, we’re filling our airwaves with some of the North West’s best.
Q U A RR Y and SPINE Records co-founder Christopher Connor takes the helm for an hour showcasing Liverpool’s vibrant experimental, left-field electronics, post-punk and DIY music scenes. As an artist within the industrial noise collective LONESAW and an avid promoter of all things harsh-frequency, Christopher and associates Ben Bones, Jezebel, Jack Wait & Pauline Hauzy have relentlessly immersed themselves in everything weird and wonderful Liverpool has to offer.
Established in 2020, Q U A RR Y is an independent music venue, recording studio & multimedia arts space – recording sessions in the day, throwing parties after hours. Initially a collaboration between SPINE – a monthly event showcasing the North West’s noise and experimental music scenes – and Quarry Studios, Q U A RR Y’s team aim to give both agency and a creative hub to all those within Liverpool’s independent and fringe music scenes.
