Losound is brought to you by the creators of Laces Out! Sneaker festival – each show will feature a different host from a long list of local residents, local artists and guests from across the UK spinning multiple genres and doing some talking every now and again on the fashion and sneaker industry.
Music has always been a big part of Laces Out! From day one their aim was to connect with local artists & DJs to share our platform and give our ticket holders a taste of what was happening in the city. They’ve also invested heavily in bringing over some national & global names such as hip hop legend Bobbito Garcia, DJ Semtex, Rodney P & Skitz, DJ SP (Patta Sound System), Edson Sabajo (Patta) and many more.
For their first edition, the Laces Out crew feature a special guest appearance from Manchester based scratch DJ El Statiko, who is a five time award winning scratching champion and has supported artists such as Pete Rock, CL Smooth & Mob Deep! They also chat about what’s in the pipeline for Laces Out and how Covid-19 has given them some time to focus in on the musical aspects of the event.
