It was about time the Melodic Distraction residents Nick & Nath got their own show on our airwaves. Since being named on the Gottwood Festival lineup this year, the duo have been in high spirits and it resonates in this 2 hour show, laden with energetic dance music.
Having grown up together in North Wales, Nick & Nath have the uncanny ability to understand one another’s movements behind the DJ booth, able to step into each other transitions without hesitation and mix as one unit. Often seen donning baseball caps, with a mirrored head nod and beaming smiles, the two friends bring a contagious energy to the studio.
This month, along with with help from Jive Podcast’s Sam Watmore and music fanatic Pete Wright, Nick & Nath lay down one our most energetic shows to date, full to the brim with disco, afro-funk and club-focused house music. As they work on their own material as well, we’re expecting Nick & Nath to have a busy year.
