Rollover with NAM: Abigail Ward & Christos

NAM is a Manchester-based audiophile listening bar.

Ancoats-based hi-fi bar, NAM, will be supplying an audiophile sound system to power the station for DJs and listeners in the festival site. They also bring with them guest selectors from Manchester including; Levi Love, Dub Conductors, Annabel Fraiser and more.

Abigail Ward is a DJ, artist and producer from Lancashire, UK. She makes music under the name Ghoßt Assembly. Her debut release, ‘I Miss Your Love’ – a raw and soulful homage to Chicago house – comes out on Ruf Kutz in August ‘23. As a DJ Abigail thrives on creating absorbing multi-genre road trips that are guaranteed to elicit an emotional response, be that on a dancefloor, at an art gallery or in your headphones. Twelve years as a counter jockey in Manchester’s best-loved independent record shops, Piccadilly Records, Vinyl Exchange and Kingbee, inspired her open-eared eclecticism. A well-schooled crate digger, she excels at stitching together oddball tunes from disparate sources and is not afraid to produce new edits of tracks in order to create the perfect audio collage.

Christos – a Manchester-via-South Yorkshire DJ, club programmer and once-upon-a-time party promoter; who has shelled it everywhere from WHP to Boiler Room, via Fabric and Brixton Academy, but now keeping things low-key, slow and sweet. Expect a formless drift through folk, dub, jazz, soul, electronica, hip-hop, and beyond…….
