Endaf

“F*** me, it looks like a spaceship in here.” That’s how the builder reacted when entering Endaf’s studio for the first time.

Music producer/live electronic artist/DJ/promoter & record label founder, Endaf has been busy spinning records and twiddling knobs for over 10 years. Hailing from the mountains of North Wales, his productions showcase both his introverted and extroverted side. Be it jazzy electronic jams influenced by the likes of James Blake and FKJ, or the ‘let’s-see-that-bass-face’ house bangers; you name it, Endaf’s got it.

2020 has already been a huge year for Endaf, as one of the BBC Horizons/Gorwelion 12 supported artists this year. His track ‘Wrapped’ was featured on BBC Music Introducing’s Hot List by Jaguar, and his latest release ‘Disgwyl’ with Eadyth & Ifan Dafydd has been supported on BBC Radio 1/BBC Radio 6 Music and BBC Radio Cymru/BBC Radio Wales.

Past performances include events such as BAFTA Cymru Afterparty, Gottwood Festival, Manchester International Festival, Risin Sound Berlin, Welsh Sports Awards, Swansea Fringe Festival and a live session at BBC Maida Vale studio.

His club night ‘High Grade Grooves’ has a weekly residency at Cube Nightclub in Bangor. This is where you’ll hear his unreleased tracks first, so becoming a record label in 2019 was the natural progression for High Grade Grooves to distribute his music worldwide.

GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) and love for cables has led to Endaf creating a live set consisting of synthesisers, drum machines, samplers, step sequencers and MIDI controllers. We’re stoked to hear Endaf’s lazy jams, but with a fat 909, live in the studio.
