As chief digger at Dig Vinyl, a secondhand record store located in on Bold Street, Elliot’s knowledge of music spans across many genres making for his selector session to be filled with surprises.
For this show, Elliot turns his attention to Diskers Español: Hispanic psych-funk and leftfield grooves.
As Elliot himself explains, the show is “an enterprise into underground psych-funk that exploded within South-America and mainland Spain during the 60’s and 70’s. A mixture of fuzz-grooves, disko rock, leftfield-pop and whacked-out B-sides.” Sounds pretty boss to us!
