Focusing on more left-field, psychedelic and experimental selections, Cryptical Listening is a look at the current underground music scene in Liverpool and beyond.
Hosted by musician, producer and DJ Ché Wilson (aka CLW), the show seeks to give original music a platform to be played alongside important influential music to give context to the future. Not only does Ché have a DJ residency at The Jacaranda Club and play in local band Rubber Dub, he also runs the Keep It Cryptic secret location warehouse parties alongside buddies Josh Ray and Cosmic Shepherd.
With their rapidly growing secret party gaining attention from the Liverpool Echo and Bido Lito, the Keep It Cryptic crew have caught the imagination of a fresh youthful art scene in Liverpool and are starting to turn heads. Now with a bootleg label set to release a number of originals this year, you can expect to hear lots of unreleased material played on this show – with styles ranging from breakbeat and electro to dub and jungle, disco and house to jazz and punk.
