DJ Alien Izz first cut her teeth on the Liverpool DnB scene in the summer of ’21. She’s fast made a name for herself on lineups across the city, playing for events such as Rum Riddimz Run and Baltic Weekender Festival and making her international debut at Outlook Festival, Croatia, in September.
A DJ who defines herself by sound over genre, Alien Izz splits her time between shelling dark and heavy rollers on the DnB scene with mixes which explore an eclectic wave of Eastern, leftfield and funky bass sounds.
These 130 to 150bpm sets span everything from the UK-heavy sounds of grime and garage, to the early-hours experimental club thumps of industrial-bass and electro, all with a nod to the roots of the Soundsystem and the energetic rhythms of kuduro and jungle.
