The 26th Africa Oyé has now sadly passed, but with that comes another full year of radio shows. Celebrating the African diaspora through anecdotes and unheard stage recordings, join Paul Duhaney and his guests each month.
With a blend of recordings from the festival, interviews with artists and organisers, and plenty of guest mixes and live sessions along the way, the show is a reflection on what has happened and what’s to come in the future. Oyé prides itself on being the largest celebration of African music in the UK, beginning life as a programme of live events in venues throughout Liverpool.
This month’s show features creative director, Paul Duhaney and Dave McTague. With the festival fresh in their minds, the two reminisce over some of their highlights of the weekend. Stick around as they jump back in time for a guest mix recorded straight from the Trenchtown Stage courtesy of Zacharia Soul and Hustle’s James Morgan.
