MDR co-founder and Worldwide FM host Aitman is spoiling us with a brand new radio show on the first Friday of every month.
Exploring the humanisation of electronic music across a very broad spectrum, Aitman will reach into ambience and dance music as well as more abrasive sounds. The show will be focussed around searching for that certain ratio which combines formulaic and electronic sounds with humanised nuances and imperfections, to create a really enjoyable soundtrack each month.
Aitman steps up to the mark this month once again this month to bring you a variety of breaks, electro and broken beat. He’s toeing it b2b with Ben Sleia for 2 hours of gentle breaks and a tour of some of the biggest UK techno releases of the last month.
Ben Sleia hosts her show BRUITS on Melodic Distraction once a month, running through some harsher, dance-floor oriented sounds. She also co-runs local party series, ATHE, aiming to platform the womxn of dance music more centre stage.
