MDR co-founder and former Worldwide FM host Aitman is spoiling us with a brand new radio show on the first Friday of every month.
Exploring the humanisation of electronic music across a very broad spectrum, Aitman will reach into ambience and dance music as well as more abrasive sounds. The show will be focussed around searching for that certain ratio which combines formulaic and electronic sounds with humanised nuances and imperfections, to create a really enjoyable soundtrack each month.
This month, Josh Aitman is broadcasting live and direct from his home. The show features a selection of his Bandcamp Friday purchases which include sounds from Guava, Prins Thomas and local artist Dowd.
