We’re Hiring: Bar and Venue Manager

We’re looking for a bar manager to head up the team at our soon-to-open coffee shop and bar in the Fabric District (L3). 

This is a really great opportunity for someone with extensive bar management experience to help kickstart a new venue’s operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping shape the daytime and nighttime menu, creating the bar’s daily operating schedule, as well as helping to bring new team members on-board.

 



Requirements & Info

  • Minimum 1 Year of Bar, Venue or Coffee Shop Management
  • Position starting as soon as possible
  • Full-time (average 35hrs – 40hrs per week)
  • Permanent 
  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • All tips split amongst staff


Day to day responsibilities will include; management of the bar team, negotiating supplier contracts, managing inventories and budgets, continually tweaking and updating processes to ensure that the bar runs smoothly, making sure that customers and staff alike feel taken care of and happy to be in the space. We’re also after someone who is able to operate happily within a small premises, keeping it clean and safe for customers and staff at all times. 

Other responsibilities include; ad-hoc social media marketing and the management of small scale in-house events. 

Beyond this, we’re just looking for an all-round sound person. Someone with experience in the local hospitality industry who is passionate about delivering a good time to every customer who walks through the door.
