Sound of Drowning – To Break Your Bones Whilst Dancing EP

CRYP004 is an explosive offering of breaks and bleeps from none other than long-standing Cryptic family member Ollie Cash AKA Sound Of Drowning, who’s set closing the house party room at Keep It Cryptic last Friday is still on everyone’s lips, now coming in hot with his debut EP ‘To Break Your Bones Whilst Dancing’.

Kicking off the 5-track is ghetto-tech charged breakbeat workout ‘Groooovin’, boss rolling bass and electro hats all over this one. Channelling Octo Octa in the following track ‘Big Bad Dub’, Ollie shares with us his very first production, tripping into ‘Warped’, acid techno meets Goa trance. Title track ‘To Break Your Bones Whilst Dancing’ is a slower, deeper, chuggier side to the Sound Of Drowning we usually know. ‘Gong Flip’ bringing us to the end of the proceedings with some hip hop infused break action.

Sound Of Drowning says:

“I’m ecstatic to get these tracks out, as they’ve been sat on my PC for a while now and it’s great to have them released through Keep It Cryptic, yesss nowwww! Big up Jack Wait from QUARRY Studios who mastered them, and all the Cryptic gang for supporting me since day one with my musical journey!

Peace,
Ollie xo”
