Bradley Zero celebrates five years of his Rhythm Section International imprint with SHOUTS, a 36 track compilation that perfectly encapsulates the label’s ever evolving and dynamic sound.
A go-to label for the connoisseurs, Rhythm Section INTL is a UK staple. The raison d’être has always been to unearth and nurture new talent, not just via the catalogue but through the now established network of radio shows, concerts and club nights Rhythm Section has become known for. The SHOUTS compilation and accompanying celebratory tour is a continuation of this mission.
Across 36 tracks SHOUTS takes in past, present and most importantly, future elements of the label’s cross section of sounds, to make a clear statement of intent for the next 5 years and beyond.
The digital compilation runs alongside two 12” samplers, and follows two digital single releases in February and March. The first is from good friend of the dance Yu-Su (who you can catch at Baltic Weekender in May), who leads the charge with a dynamic new track entitled ‘233’ alongside label-fave Duke Hugh-who has provided us with ‘Zoe’, an ethereal ambient composition that serves as the intro to the compilation.
SHOUTS is out on Rhythm Section on April 3rd. The first week of pre-sales will go to South London Charity Youth Futures, so make sure you pre order HERE!
