On 2nd June, Nook of Noise & Norf are partnering up with IWF to deliver a night outside of the norm.
Stitching together visual installations with a theme of industrial & experimental, techno & breaks from some of Liverpool and Manchester’s finest; Demdike Stare, Darkstar, Lupini, Trees of Childhood and Seethe b2b Palpatine.
Headlining the event will be critically acclaimed Manchester duo Demdike Stare, who will be bringing dark, ambient and electronic performance to the IWF. They’ll be well complemented by the visual installations and project mapping of Trees Of Childhood, who is not only curating the visual elements of the show, but also laying down a set of techno & breakbeat rhythms infused with live recordings.
WARP Records very own Darkstar will also be bringing the heat, as will former MDR station kitty Lupini who is closing the night with her trademark blend of industrial sounds and a little bit of silliness. Get down early though to catch rising local stars Seethe and Palpatine open the night with a furious b2b.
