News: AIDS Quilt Memorial Workshop at 24 Kitchen Street

This year marks the first time in UK History that sections of the priceless and uninsurable UK AIDS Memorial Quilt are being exhibited at a club. From World AIDs day on 1st December – 5th December, 24 Kitchen Street will be hosting the panels.

To commemorate this historic occasion, the club has commissioned Greame Lavery, a HIV+ Textiles Artist based in Liverpool, to facilitate crafting workshops where participants can create a commemorative panel for their loved ones. All materials, sewing machines and professional guidance are provided for free.

The workshops will run in partnership with Sahir House on the 3rd, 10th and 17th November – sign up for free here.
