London based artist Charles Vaughan delivers an intense Berlin meets East London warehouse rave infused remix of queer cuties CRISP&CLASSY.
Hot off the back of his latest EP release, which saw coverage from Mixmag, Inverted Audio and Halcyon Wax, Charles Vaughan delivers a seismic remix of queer pop sensations CRISP&CLASSY. The remix forms part of the ‘Gave U Life’ remix EP, also featuring a remix from fellow London-based producer Lavaita.
This remix wastes no time in converting the listener to its mystical ways, placing CRISP&CLASSY’s sinful vocal at the centre of a rave-infused nightmare. An experimentation gone wrong (or perhaps just as intended), the remix takes influence from heavyweight dance-floor preachers such as Special Request, Mall Grab & Pouch Envy. It’s safe to say that this remix pursues a higher state of existence, creating a physically pressurised sonic space for the listener’s transcension. Yet, despite its descent, the remix summons a warped angelic choir in its final moments, providing redemption for the sinners that have lost themselves.
