B. Oliver returns alongside Alexia, bringing infectious neo soul sounds with their new single, ‘Therapy’.
The instrumental immediately has a dark, moody energy, with a minimalism that gives the listener space to get lost amongst washed-out reverb and delay.
The lyrics for Therapy were originally written for a garage beat, but became a natural accompaniment to the slower, darker sounds of B. Oliver’s instrumental, tackling themes of love, self-esteem, and heartbreak.
“Somehow the lyrics just sounded so natural over B. Oliver’s production, and turned into a song about self-love as therapy, when you love yourself more than a bad relationship.”
‘Therapy’ will be released via Ursa Major on 5th March 2021. You can support it HERE.
